A Special Appeal for Saipan – Recovery from Typhoon Soudelor

The gospel lesson for the 11th Sunday after Pentecost compels us who partake of Jesus the bread of life to be bread for others as well. Right now, the people in Saipan need “bread” in the form of our prayers and love and support. Saipan has no power, no water, and basic goods are running out as a result of super typhoon Soudelor which battered the island last Sunday night. Be the bread. Be the gospel. Be the answer to Saipan’s prayers. If you want to help, please write check to: ECIM (Episcopal Church in Micronesia) and mail or drop the check to: St. John’s Church Office at 911 North Marine Corps Drive, Upper Tumon, Guam, 96913. You can also call Pastor Irene at 7886021. (Aug 6, 2015)
