The Episcopal Diocese of Santiago was again blessed with 99 theological books donated by the Diocese of Olympia. Eighty-two books from Christ Episcopal Church, WA and sixteen books from the Rev. Brian Wright  of St Hilda St. Patrick Episcopal Church, WA. The first batch of books came from Fr. Ed Lovelady’s library.

The clergy of EDS are finding these books very helpful in their deepening readings and especially to our Diocesan Lay School of Ministry. Many of the books are very helpful in guiding our lay leaders through their schooling.

The People’s Cathedral nearing completion

Blessing and consecration is projected for the last month of the Ist. quarter 2013 or early part of 2nd quarter.

The upper half with green rood buildings is EDS while the lower half with cream and blue roof building is the Assembly of God. The left most building with the shape of th cross is the proposed cathedral, the L shape is the diocesan training center, the two silver roof are staff housing while the right most edge is the Bishop’s residence. This must have been 5 years ago, it’s now full of orchard trees.
